Project: New Tarmac Surface Cycle Route for Scottish Borders Council
Approved by Scottish Borders Council as Tarmac Contractors, this is a project we completed at the Yair Estate, Selkirk to resurface the cycle route. If you’re a keen cyclist you’ll know there’s no better surface to cycle on that a newly laid tarmac cycle track 🚴. First, some pics of the old surface.
The new cycle route surface was laid to Scottish Borders Council specification with base course regulated to new levels and bond coat applied before 800m2 of 14mm surface course laid. Some pics of the cycle track tarmac contractor team at work.
