This project called for the installation of a new tarmac road for a shared access to several properties in Morpeth, Northumberland. As you can see from the images below, the existing surface was very poor and in need of an upgrade.
The old surface was excavated and removed before laying the new surface levels which consisted of:
– Type-1 hardcore stone laid to new levels
– 20mm Base course laid at 60mm depth
– 14mm Carpave wearing course laid at 40mm depth
